Daniela Rodrigues Silva
Postdoc
Daniela is born and raised in a small city in the southeast of Brazil, called Lavras-MG. She holds BSc and MSc degrees in Chemistry from the Universidade Federal de Lavras (UFLA). Her PhD was done in collaboration with Matheus Freitas (UFLA) and Célia Fonseca Guerra (VUA) groups. She is currently a postdoc at the VUA. Her current research focuses on understanding the structure and bonding of small molecules, especially the physical factors controlling the conformational stability of organic compounds and related molecular properties. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with friends. After all, there is nothing better than a nice conversation and a good coffee (with cake). She also likes traveling, reading, watching old movies, and singing with her pets (two super cute cockatiels).
